I am a certifying doula through DONA International, I will continue to educate myself so I can provide clients with current information about pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum care. I am also a wife and a mother to two beautiful children, Ally (3) and Ben (2). I believe childbirth is a natural process, it's more than a means to an end, it is a transformation from woman to mother.
I provide my clients with two prenatal visits and one postpartum visit, as well as unlimited phone and email support. I provide various comfort measures during labor, such as massage, counter pressure and changing positions. I enrich the relationship between a laboring woman and her partner. I strive to help women have the best birth they possibly can, to be their advocate and support them continuously throughout labor and immediately postpartum. I empower mothers and their families in following their hearts and I truly believes that you should have YOUR birth YOUR way.
