Candice Sandusky
Birth means different things for all women- some find it to be a sacred rite of passage meant to go as naturally as possible with little or no intervention. Some women would be perfectly happy to get their epidural the moment they walk through the hospital doors. I would venture to say that all women share one commonality when it comes to birth- they want to feel like they are empowered to make their own choices, seek out their own ideal birth, and be surrounded by encouraging, supportive advocates for herself and her baby. This is my wish for you as well. From home births to planned C-sections, I will be there to support you and help you have your ideal birth. I am currently pursuing my doula certification with CAPPA and I am the NC state coordinator for Operation Special Delivery, a network of volunteer doulas serving partners of deployed military members. I’m a proud military wife and mom of two fantastic kids.
